Every one I got in March is doing very well, one still left in the pot, has doubled in size since then to about 7 feet now.

I'm going to my brothers next week, and I know they used to have these seedlings everywhere on thier property. I will ask him if they still do, and if so, I can dig them out and bring to the swap.

Ah! That'd be so great. I've seen them up near our camp and they are so peaceful and active and beautiful but, you're not allowed to dig on national forest land so I've never just grabbed some to bring home. My brother is a forestry management guy at Kane Hardwood - he says that Quaking Aspen are one of those types of trees that come in and take over after a disaster (tornado or fire) cuz they spread so radpidly and easily. My brother went on vacation, so hopefully he will be back begore the swap so I can get out there and dig if there are any to be had.
