Not fair Beerhog. I don't think I even have buds on my iris yet. I'll have to take a look next time I'm out. Yours is beautiful! Is the top photo a clematis?

Yes it is a clematis climbing a fig tree.

They certainly are. I love the iris. Do you know what variety it is? I finally have buds on my Clarence iris, but the others zip.

Only thing blooming here are the redbud, quince (orangey red one), lilacs, a few daffs, the linaria is just beginning, some vinca has blooms and a few ajuga, and the grape hyacinths are just finishing.

My perennials are just up about 10 inches or so. We must be about a month behind you.

Beautiful! You are several weeks ahead of me. I'm at the 12 1/2 mile marker on the lake. Where are you?
