Well I sure didn't get those high winds they were talking about. a bit of rain but nothing like I feared.
How did everyone else fair?
Just a little more water to add to the already standing water I had. lol.
Have a good day. I'll just keep telling myself this rain is good for my plants, yeah right, if they don't drown. Most of my yard is on a slop. I try not to plant anything down where the water gathers. Maybe next year I should make a mound and plant w/water loving plants. lol

So far, all we have had is some rain and on and off again sunshine. Too wet to get outside and do anything. I am northwest of Springfield ,north of I-44.

I thought maybe you were not that far from me. Although I am on the west side of joplin. I guess since it is so damp out, I feel so cold today. Can't get my hands to do much. lol. good thing I guess since it is so muddy. I think all my daff's are gone. I did not have even one come up this year. and there is a fairly large row of them back there. Oh well another thing to add to my list to replace from this last years weather.

I've been carrying my seedings back and forth from outside to inside and back again. Trying to keep them from getting washed or blown away. We're supposed to get heavy rains tonight and tornado watch tomorrow.

I wouldn't give up on the daffs just yet. I have a tree that didn't put out a single leaf last year and I think it has a few buds on the trunk this year. Also have some daffs that came up but didn't bloom.

I think I'll leave the daffs where they are, and check next year. I know where they are so won't replant anything else there. my tree in the frount that had the top all out from the ice is starting to bud also.
