D Compactum "Udon Blue Angel"

Don't believe the 'compact' part.

First year total plant with spike about 14"

This year the flower spike itself is about 18"

Still like it though...

Lovely orchid. i think the label should read Den. Udom Blue Angel.

Do not know about this Den. Compactum business. Its always been a mystery.

Great deep purple hue. That is one huge spike! Like a giant larkspur almost! Very nice.
