Thanks all. I picked it up as a seedling 5 or 6 years ago. It was nice to finally see it flower.

You have to love a hobby that requires 5-6 years to achieve results! Still very well worth it. What is your growing set up like? indoor grower?

I think I have a few that have had me waiting longer than that.

I grow outside spring to fall and overwinter indoors in a sun room. I got it in a wood basket, when it out grew the basket I pulled out the pins and put it in a bigger basket. I put it a large plastic planter and water with a pump sprayer.

It may be easier to grow than some of the other Vandas because it is one that you see sometimes at orchid meetings and shows around here. Still, congratulations on getting it to bloom.

Glad to hear the growing set up is similar to mind. Maybe I will try it when I test my luck with Vandas.
