I'm just an awkward b*****, but to me the "other" Angraecums are just like smaller inferior versions of A.sesquipedale.......though some I have to admit are better scented.

lol @ ifraser...you philistine!! :) I'm just kidding!!!! personally I don't find the shape of ang. sesquipedale very pleasant (but I want to have one anyway for the historic significance). I think some of the aerangis species as well as the smaller angraecums have much nicer shapes....I also enjoy the inflorescence of different angs. but then again this could all just be Mr. B's brainwashing. O_O

Niiiiiiiiiice on Mr B. What are people's experience with the fragrance on this species? It's been on my shortlist for a while now on looks alone but I have heard that it is inconsistent - that is, examples are not always fragrant, or pleasantly so. Would this be mistaken identity or the chance one takes?
