They are tropical plants. You have to buy the bulbs and plant them after Mothers Day in the garden every year.
They are hardy in zone 10.
Go to Home Depot or Lowes, they sell a bag of 6 for about 6.99.
Buying them individually is very pricey, I used to buy them that way, but this year I bought the bulbs instead, cheaper.
Or, you could dig the bulbs out of the ground or pots in September after Labor Day and place them in saw dust in a paper bag in your home over the winter for the following summer.
I dont do that, they aren't expensive to buy new bulbs.
