Check-in thread messed up?

Hey Guys!!! We're okay.....don't think we have any damage but we are still without power. Today, it's a ponytail day for work! We're only about 5 miles from the Loves that was flattened. Scarier still, we're 3 miles from the marina at Thunderbird that has been destroyed. I saw first hand from way too close that twister. Now my biggest worry is our freezers and all the meat stored in them. Just our luck, DH got 2 deer this last season. A friend is loaning us a generator later since ours is having a hard time running smooth. It already blew a TV last nite while we were just trying to keep an eye on the radar since we lost power before the storm hit.

Thanks Seedmama for checking on me!!! It sure was comforting!! Also comforting this morning to see those that thought of us. Don't ya'll worry!!!! The Spring Fling still has a place!!!

I'll check back in as time allows me here from work.

Our entire forum is acting up. Every time I post a message and hit submit, it never responds.....just sits there frozen in time. I have to log off, wait about ten minutes and restart the computer to get back into the Oklahoma Forum again. It is just bizarre.

So glad that you, Ken and your place are doing well. That storm came way too close to your place. I was wondering how close the Love's was to your house. It looks like Norman took a huge hit yesterday. Did y'all hear that the guys at the NWS Storm Prediction Center saw a funnel cloud a couple hundred yards from their building? I bet they never really thought they'd see one that close!

Hope the ones we haven't heard from yet are OK. I know power is still out for quite a few folks.

Y'all watch the weather this afternoon. That dryline has to retreat back across the state and we could have trouble if the cap of warm air aloft breaks and lets storm development occur---but nothing like what happened yesterday.

I wanted to thank Charlie (I think that's his name) for posting about Tahlequah on the other thread. Since it was messed up I couldn't post any more, and had to run off to work, anyway. So, Thanks for the word about Tahlequah. You put my mind a little at ease.

I posted about the large hail south of Tahlequah in southern Cherokee County. We had more to happen here than George had on that end of the county.

Good to see people checking in. We had tornadoes all around us Monday. I work in Norman and live in S. OKC/Moore area (May 3rd path). A LARGE circulation went right over our neighborhood. I was still at the office and the family was at home in a neighbor's shelter, but we didn't take any direct damage at either. In fact, a few of us still at the office went outside and watched the Norman storm go by just to the south of us. Our power was out and sirens were going off all around but we were standing in sunshine. I hope everyone else here was as lucky. Judson
