i'm certainly ready for spring. a week or so ago i was out in shorts and a t-shirt then the snow the next day ~ go figure! well, i guess if we rush it, we rush the other seasons as well, so i'll be patient and just let it happen.

how true that march is "in like a lion and out like a lamb" and then we have to contend with "april showers bring may flowers".

i sure hope our seasons get back to normal levels.

Happy spring to all. Well, it is officially spring by the calendar. My tulips that I planted in the fall have begun breaking the earth and are sprouting all over. I LOVE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. Good luck with your growing season. Can't wait to get started. Birds chirping, sun shining, garden calling. Love it!!!

For the first time, I got an overall impression of green-ness when I looked out the window this morning. Almost all of the snow has melted, and the grass is coming to life.

And last night I heard spring peeper frogs chirping!! I thought I'd heard them earlier in the day, but didn't trust my ears. It was unmistakable after dark, though.

Happy spring right back to you! I wish I could say there's a general "green-ness" here in NEPA but it's still snowy and brown. I would be jealous but I think with the warm temps today and the melting snow I'm just too happy to have any type of zone envy. I also love this time of year. I get almost giddy when I think of how I might be able to get out in the yard this weekend and look for signs of spring!

(I hope I don't run into too many winter casualties)
