Oxalis I think. You will never ever see my toes in pictures. I think you are showing off those beauties. The toad looks sleepy - cute. I recognize the astilbe but not the nice ground cover flowers.

Toads seem to be everywhere this spring. When they pop up it always scares me.

You have some very nice looking plants but that ground cover at the foot of the stairs just really appeals to me.

Thanks y'all. My toes are just painted. Underneath that pretty pink are dirty gardeners toes. Amazing what a coat of polish will do!

The groundcover is every prettier in real life. I got it from Bluestone and highly recommend it. It's spread into my shade garden where it gets dappled sun and is doing well there in addition to the hot blazing sun area at the stairs.

But what is it?

It's Blue Star Creeper (Laurentia fluviatilis). The name is right above the first pic. :D

I planted Laurentia this year but it didnt germinate.
Any suggestions?

Nancy, Sorry, I've never tried to start it from seed. Mine were small plants from a nursery.
