Dendrobium phlox

I think the botanists have their tongue in cheek sometimes when they name these things as this plant is not much like any phlox I know. It's still quite funky though. Sorry for the slightly blurry image. I decided to show it, however, as I had not seen this species on the forum before.

I love this!! Although I am always drawn to the unusual. I would love to see the whole plant in proportion to the bloom. The color is very stunning!

Lovely colour.

Not technically blurry photo. The focus is just a bit to the background, and not to the bloom in the center.
