Looks like a didieri to me! Gorgeous nonetheless...I wish mine would do something. Maybe it needs more leaves

It looks like didieri to me as well but mine flowers much earlier in the year(June) which may be due of course to the location. Congratulations on such a nicely grown plant.

Mike, when did you get this plant from Oak Hill? I need a year, please.

CJ, I got the plant in October of 2004. The consensus seems to be 'didieri', which kind of calls into question my didieri! The two plants are certainly not identical.

The reason I asked is back some time in 2005, I got a hybrid from Oak Hill of Angraecum (didieri x mahavaense), which it only took me three years to kill. I have never seen a photo of the hybrid's flower so I can't say yeah or nay, but I would expect it to look somewhat like a didieri. Perhaps yours got mislabeled.

Oh I have that one. It seems to be smaller overall than this plant. I think it may have bloomed in the past year or so with smaller flowers than this one. Of course that could be an artifact of various things...but in the end, I think this is either plain ol' didieri or something else entirely, or an unknown hybrid. Speaking of...stay tuned for florulentum x eburneum! :D

Now that one should be interesting! I hope it retains florulentum's fragrance.
