I get mine out every now and then.

All 5 of her books are on my desk, to the right of my computer!
I'm varying a bit from her way of gardening, by building my raised beds, but otherwise, everything is still the same.i'm a firm believer that if theres a easier way to garden, then its for me.
Isnt it strange tho, that such a simple way, has so many books written about it?

Now I will have to look in to that.
I with all of you. I feel that the less amount of tugging lugging etc I have to do to garden the better. B/c we know it won't make us any younger. lol
An I say this as I prepare to go out a lay out another 30+ stones. For my extension on the west end flower garden.
I have a basket that sits on my desk that I keep anything I feel the need to keep for future reference for gardening/flowers.

In the book "I've Always Done It my Way" printed in 1975, it list's I've always done it my way---As we remember Mother--How to have a green Thumb without an aching back--The Ruth Stout no work gardening book (with Richard Clemence-If you would be happy---Gardening without work--Companys Coming-Six decades of Hospitality--and--its a womans world. Thats 8.
In the front of her "No work gardening book it lists twenty five printings, from June 1971 to September 1979.
Most of them are the same, really, didnt care for "I've always done it my way"
Lets just say it was about a bit more than gardening.
I love the title "Gardening Without Work--for the aging, the busy and the indolent"--even made me feel as if she had written it for me personally! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm(this last bit was typed by my cat)
