For several years I've had good luck with Helverson Brothers (they have a website). I'm not sure how far into Montco they deliver, though.

One of my sisters had topsoil delivered from Primex for some raised beds that her and her DH installed and it was pretty decent stuff. They live in Montco and Primex is in Glenside.

i don't know why i never think of primex. that would be quite local.

hmmm, maybe it was just the woman who answered the phone today, but i felt the service was rude. didn't place an order with them - i'll have to keep looking.
