the co-op has recently increased their offerings of organic gardening stuff. There is a small garden section next to the produce department.

There is a worm farm about 30 miles from downtown Pittsburgh call Worm World. They produce and sell all natural worm castings. Telephone 724-356-2397. Great stuff for all plants.

I,m lookining for farms or stables that give away manure. Horse, cow, etc...I'm not picky...I'm in the South Hills area.

Just a thought, micheller, but why not contact the Pony Club out here in the Fox Chapel area and get names of folks who keep horses, or call some of the stables. We buy compost that's mixed with manure compost (maybe mushroom manure for all I know, but you can smell it). We get about 8 cu.yds. delivered. I also saw bags of compost early last season at Home Depot, but haven't checked this year.

I found a few places in South Park (near the wave pool) for horse manure!

I'm thinking of planting a trumpet vine in my garden... it can be invasive in warmer climates. Does anyone have any experience with this plant?
