I just love them. My favorites are "around the corner" and "willows".

Brought tears to my eyes with fond memories of my Granddad. He was an amateur artist, not up to Conwell's level, but he loved pen and ink and also pencil sketching.

What a walk down Memory Lane! I grew up in Narberth, and my mother still lives there. My aunt lived on Elmwood Ave, and Essex is a street we often walked, and though I can't say I remember the specific trees in the drawings, it still gives me a touch of nostalgia...Thanks for posting these :-)

Very nice drawings your friends uncle made. There were a few trees lost in 2003 when there was a tornado that went thru narberth and pulled up quite a few large trees near the wynnwood train station and under the bridge and narpark some are still laying there. Mostly large tulip poplars and oaks fell. Sarah
