This is the perfect addition to complete a windowsill grower's collection. It will be the prominent center piece as the stalk at this time is 7' tall and growing. Look carefully and you can follow it up and out of the entire picture. People will tie the top part of the stalk in a circular loop when it gets too tall for the greenhouse.

Now most are open. The stalk is over 7 feet tall and still getting longer as they open at the very top. Reputed to get over 10'. It's actually quite attractive, just can't get a good picture of it.

Wow - wish I had room for one of these - still, I've managed to fit in O. phymatochilum, so maybe I'll look for one after all.

I've seen it kept at less than 3'. People just curl the flexible and cooperative inflorescence into a ring.

Won a trophy for 'Best Oncidium of Show' today Feb 15. considering that I took my first flower picture Dec 9, it shows how long lasting this one is. The first few flowers are beginning to fade but there are still more to open.
