I used the link and watched your slideshow. Your yard is very neat. I think your mystery plant is mexican sunflower or tithonia.

I have tithonia too and it is about 48 inches tall and still no flowers.........I am waiting.

Is the white, a feverfew? I have one called Virgo that looks very similar to that white bloom.

How is the veggie garden doing?

I'm not sure if that is what that is or not Helen. I have 2 mexican sunflower plants I moved out of that bed on down into the sun where they have room to grow. Since I didn't remember what the were had asked an someone told me they were to get really large.
Yes I have feverfew, a few clumps of it but not a large as had hoped. But maybe next year it will grow more since this is it's first year.
The veggie bed is doing fine with the exception of the bunnies eating my lettuce. lol Might try to get a pic later in the week.
I check here w/coffee in hand everyday as well. lol

It looks like okra. Is it stickery to touch?

I have okra in the garden.
This is in the flower area. Not even close to looking like my okra plants.
I will try to take a close up of the foliage later after it is done raining.
The bloom only last for a day. The plant is around 18" H right now in dapple shade in morning an sun in the afternoon.
The flower pod is different to me.
It is not sticky or any thing, not glossy leaves either.
I was wondering if it is a type of hibiscus maybe more to the wild/natural type.
I received in a trade.

Your daisies have petals on them. Mine don't. Something has been eating them and leaving just the centers. I thought it might be Japanese Beetles but I'm not sure.
