They do love that scarlet zinnia....I must remember that last year. I don't think I have had a single red this year.

I saw one in '08 that was similar but had a black body instead of yellow.

I checked my yard several times today but didn't see it.

I don't know if I'll get just red if I save seeds from those zinnias or assorted colors. I think I'll try a few but buy some more of the named ones since they did well. Next year, I need to remember to pinch because mine are getting top heavy and starting to flop.
If I can collect some seeds before the birds get them, I'll share.
