    Ceresone,
Thanks for the compliment. We did use a sand base and yes we bought the stone.

    Thanks to everyone else too.
We were just tickled to death with it.

    terrific walk-i'm impressed!!!!

That walkway looks great and will add alot of curb appeal, especially as it ages. A few groups of some plants, maybe a few daylilies will really add to it. Outstanding Job....do those guys hire out? LOL>....

You're good Jodonne! It look's awesome!
What are the plans to go down at the end. I thought the black area was a road at first but can see that it's not in the second to last picture.
Also noticed you have a good view. : )

The black area is a parking area. If you'll notice the slope to the right of the next to last picture, that's where the road leads out to the front. And NO, we don't hire out. That project almost killed us!! It was a minimum of 99 degs. the first day and 104 without the heat index the next day. I've had enough of that for awhile. lol

So, you are not quitting your day job?? Don't blame you..that looks like a lot of work..but spectacular!

My day job is PERFECTLY safe for the time being!!!

What a wonderful job. Ive done some rock so know how hard it can be. Did a dry wall that went and collected rock for a couple of years. Did some steps and landing that I bought the rock for. Your hired to come to my house any day. Judy

Oh geez Louise,my back is breaking for you guys. I finished a very small rock walkway by myself last fall so I can only imagine how hard such a big(but beautifully done)job was this time of year.
    Way to go!
Beautiful view...beautiful house...wanna adopt me so I can live there too?...LOL

Well I don't know Bigred, what kind of gardener are you. We have alot of that yet to do. And oh yeah, we have a 20' x 30' flagstone patio planned in the not to distant future which will include a gazebo and outdoor kitchen. I guess if we adopted you we could put you to work huh?? You sure your up to all that? lol

I would consider coming to supervise the patio job and maybe do some cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Sounds so wonderful. I would also like to put my name on the adoption list. Judy
