Vacation is go to Colorado or to the beach. Lay in the sun, see mountains and botanic gardens, buy T-shirts and eat in restaurants. Time to do what you enjoy, so take it easy and have fun. If that is turn your compost that's fine.

Well it will be nice going back to work knowing that you have all your chores at home caught up. And you can still eat out. Order a pizza at least. lol

I've read that earwigs are somewhat resistant to bug sprays so using insecticides can increase their numbers by decreasing their competition and natural predators. Ugly little buggers aren't they!

I think I'm going to try the damp rolled up newspaper method. We'll see if it works. I wasn't going to spray them. don't want to kill anything I might regret later.
Well off to finish cleaning the gutters. Yep a veggie pizza would sound pretty good about sundown.

I have never seen an earwig....or didn't recognize it if I did.
