I just spent 5 days in Ft. Smith...I think you could cook them just fine on the pavement. LOL Of course, it isn't much better here, so I can only imagine how hot compost would get with this air temp. Any chance of spontaneous combustion? Guess an Arkansas fella would know all about that.

Well I checked one at 30 mintues and it was not cooked and then one at 1 hour and still nothing. Left one over night. Will go check it in a bit ant will report. The things I do to keep myself going.

I worried about my big mulch pile catching on fire and was told by the recycling facility that it was more likely in the winter than summer if we get an ice storm that covers up the mulch pile so it can't get any air or I guess can't let any air out. Maybe you can figure out a way to broil steaks - a more worthy cause. : )

For those that want to know. It takes 24 hours in a compost pile for a rotten egg to cook to hard boiled stage. Do not know if I will try the steaks just yet but you never know what is going to happen after a few beers.

Sounds like a bad case of boredom to me. LOL I've heard of counting the cracks in the sidewalks, too. Actually, a cold beer sounds pretty good on a hot day.

Are we bored????? Hey, I went ahead and cleaned up the Madame in the pine tree..it's safe to return..unless you are busy cooking that steak to go with the eggs.
