Now THOSE are hydrangeas! I wanted to post my own photos but was away for the weekend. I'll see if I can find a few tropical court photos.
Chanticleer is so cool, it's like visiting the garden of someone who has plenty of space,money and energy and can grow all the plants you only wish you could.
I got there two years ago and need to go back... I tried last fall but the doors were locked the one day (Sunday) that I was in the "close enough" area.
I could go on and on... I love the bananas, the pond, the teacup garden, the tennis court.....

Oy!

I'll be visiting Chanticleer next month. Can't wait. Do they have a gift shop?

That has to be one of the most whimsical places I have ever visited. There are so many unexpected things tucked here and there,like those faces in the water. Your pictures are wonderful and I made the first my wallpaper for the week.

They didn't have a gift shop at that time Blueheron, I believe they still do not. They're also closed Sundays.

When we went last summer,the first thing we did was make a pit stop. I knew I was in for a treat the minute I saw these on the sink and they were real.
