I posted a while ago about a p.violacea which experienced significant leaf drop etc. overwintering indoors. I hadn't experienced dramatic leaf drop with this plant in the past, but I moved this summer so the window's not the same as the one it spent previous winters in. In any case, the leaves are all gone at this point, but the vine is still green and pliable. I cut back the dead growth and have watered it extremely sparingly. The roots show no sign of rot/overwatering. Is it likely that the plant is "dormant" or is this a death knell? Other than waiting for spring to arrive, is there a way to break dormancy (or encourage it to grow)? I'm anxious as this was a high-performing plant and I feel awful, like I've killed it. Thanks for any suggestions!
