Seed guessing contest

These are fruits of variegated P. membranacea, found on the ground at Strybing Arboretum in SF. I'll send 10 seeds for postage to whomever can guess most closely how many. In the U.S.

I've already removed the seeds, so I know at this point. I'll let this go until April 1st.

I'm sending most of these to the PSI seedbank, but I do want to test 5 from each fruit for germination first and I don't need any more seedlings. I'll send those seeds for postage to whomever posts the best seedling pictures on the other thread.

I just wanted to follow up with a photo of a several month old seedling, growing in a 1 gallon pot. Even at an early age the variegation is apparent.

Although these plants took 10 years to bloom at the SF Botanical Garden (Strybing), this is one that looks very nice from a young age.
