White Flower in Ditches

This is the white scabiosa like flower that is in lots of ditches in my area. I have searched my book, and can't find it. It looks a lot like scabiosa ochroleuca that I used to grow, but it was taller and a very pale yellow.

This plant is about 18 to 36 inches tall.
