The frostweed is also indentified by the prominently winged stems. It grows profusely here in the woods. In winter the stems freeze and burst and become covered with ice crystals which is why it is called frostweed. I had not known the botanical name so appreciate your ID. I'll never forget the first time I looked out on a cold winter morning and saw the frosty stems glittering in the sun. I have also seen a vine that fits your description but forget what it is called. Would this be the vine? This is the one I was thinking of. I found other web sites but the pictures showed immature green berry clusters on the others. This one shows the beautiful colors of the berries. My ref was 'Roadside Wild Fruits of Oklahoma' by Doyle McCoy. False grape Ampelopsis cordata.EP

I'll have to go back and look.I think the one I have has smooth(no tomentosa)leaves and no serration to edges.
