I'd try caerulea pollen on the rest- It's what I've been doing. I've got caerulea, lady margaret & lavender lady all blooming right now- I have 2 different caeruleas as well- 1 I cloned from my Sister's yard & one I bought at the store. The Sister's flowers are a little bigger & bluer, the store one's a bit smaller and paler. I've found if I cross polinate between the two plants I get *lots* of seeds, but if I just self polinate seed production is much less.

So far I cannot tell if my polination efforts have worked- but it's only been 3 days.

The March/April issue of the Fruit Gardener has an article on fruiting passifloras with a table of pollen compatible varieties. You can buy back issues from the CRFG website.

Well i know the alata needs to be cross pollinated so use edulis or and other pollen of a plant with many flowers.

I finally got one of my alata to set fruit.
I had been trying to hand pollinate it and the others that can fruit and wasn't having any success.
I think the advice and the CRFG article will improve my success.

I Used to grow p. Decaisneana and p. Alata and had success with blooming and fruiting after we had a cold snap in the weather.

caerulea - will need a different caerulea clone.
alata - caerulea pollen will do it.
red flower - either vitifolia or coccinea. Caerulea pollen will do vitifolia. Coccinea I don't know.
'incense'- caerulea pollen will do it.
coriacea - some clones self others don't. If yours doesn't another clone or P. suberosa pollen will do it.
citrina - never selfs but related species will set fruit on it e.g.P. capsularis/ P. cobanensis.
trifasciata- I have seen seed for sale but to my knowledge it will never self pollinate and I think there is only one clone widely available.
'star of bristol'caerulea pollen will do it.
