I can see where the concrete and metal ornaments might be selling pretty well after the summer we had. I don't blame you. Maybe by spring I will have forgotten.
I've been watching the forecast too. It says 33 for Wednesday night. I have a few things I need to dig up before we get frost. I have some tropical milkweed and some lantana plants that I want to try to winter over in my garage or basement. I think I'm going to dig up my red glads too. They were pretty and I don't know how hardy they are. I leave my other glads in the ground but I think these are different. I should leave a couple to see if they come back.

I want to get my begonias in, house plants, the fig, and some coleus pieces. I also would like to save Persian Shield, purple wandering jew and the small leafed trailing wandering jew type plant. I don't look forward to putting up with them all winter but it is expensive to buy all new plants in the spring. I think after this cold night or two we will have more mild weather so I might just drag them in the hall on cardboard. The begonia actually looked attractive in a pot in the hall last winter but it is a little beaten up this year.
