Fall is a great time for Roses

I think roses in our neck of the woods actually look better in these cool days of fall than any other time of year.
The first one is called the last rose of summer; it is also the first rose. It is Parson's Pink China:
and the next is a rose that I planted maybe in 1992, a very long time for a rose to last in my garden!
It is Paul McCartney,
