Plants that call for "full sun" have never met the heat from the sun here in Texas! Your plants want sun all but the hottest part of the day here. That means avoid the scorching afternoon sun if @ all possible! Can you place them in an area that they get get sun from early AM thru about noon/1PM - then shade until about 5PM? Late afternoon, evening sun is good, too. Not so hot. A good rule of thumb here is sun before 13:00 and after 17:00. Shade in-between.

You may be giving them too much water as well- they don't *like* sitting in a swamp. Give 'em some shade, and watch the tendrils on the tips of the vines. When they start to hang limply, the plant needs water. In their natural enviornment they grow on rock-piles & sandy fast draining soil- so their roots aren't used to being wet all the time.

I've found with these guys babying them too much is a good way to kill them.. But when I forget about them they seem to do very well.

Thanks for the tips! I don't seem to have a good location that is safe from the deer. As for now, I've got them in more shade than is probably good, but they sure look a lot better (except for my caerulea).

Yep, your passion flower is probably getting "cooked" in the pot in the hot sun. I hope it is getting better by now. I'm in zone 8 and my solid purple passion flowers grow in the ground. I, too, love them. They are getting ready to begin blooming now. Yours should do better in part shade like someone said, out of the hottest mid-day sun. Good luck!
