I think it is a House Finch, not a Purple. I get confused!

What a wonderful picture....I'd swear it could have come out of Birds and Blooms.

My grandson just loves it when we open and see all the pretty pics.

My new feeder that I hinted for is going to go right by the window. : )

I was standing at the kitchen sink maybe 3 feet from the bird. I used the zoom on macro. Never used macro on zoom, but figured if it zooms you in close, you need it.. no blurriness this time.

I need to keep my window clean though!

Yesterday, we had the house finches, White Crowned Sparrows and the Goldfinches all at the feeder. Couldn't get a good shot because of shadows.

I'm still using left over seed from last year and need to buy some more. Since you shop where I do - Who is cheapest on big bags of sunflower seed?
