I wonder, if you buy the fruits from the supermart, and grow the seeds, will you get the same fruits as the parents?

I ask this because in the case of cherry tomatoes that I grow, I am told most sold in supermarts are F1 hybrids which, if you use the seeds from the fruits, won't grow to produce the same fruits like their parents.

So, are the passion fruits sold in supermarts F1 hybrids.

I am keen to grow a red-fruited variety, so are those Fredricks or Panama Reds F1 hybrids?

Which other names are red-fruited?
