Karyn, that is really pretty. Does it smell good too or does it have the smell of foetida?

Thankfully it has no scent, at least nothing I could detect. I hope this fruit contains some viable seed when it's ripe. I've had so many fruit on a number of plants that turn out to be nothing more then little sacks of air.

Interesting cross. Passiflora palmerii var. sublanceolata is a bird pollinated plant thought to have evolved from a bee pollinated Passiflora foetida ancestor.
Hopefully packed full of seed and should taste pretty good as most foetidas do. Generally with foetida it is just the foliage that has a rather goaty smell -which I quite like. Nothing like the smell of the P. 'Sunburst' flower which is unbearable!
