I have noticed over the last week or so, as my weather has cooled during the day by anywhere from 10-20 degrees and is now consistently in the high 40's to mid 50's at night that all of my flowers are lasting at least 24 hours and in some cases maybe a hair longer than they were when it was hot.

Anybody else find the same thing happening?

None of them are open when I leave for work and usually by the time I get home they were already closing, and now with the days getting noticeably shorter I can't really see them in the evening. So at this time of year I only get to enjoy them on the weekends for the most part. Now I can usually tell at least who opened the day before.

Only drawback to this of course is on the weekend, won't know who can be pollinated or not because I won't know who's an old flower and who's a new flower.

Of course I guess I should stop attempting any pollinations now, because more than likely anything that sets fruit won't ripen enough to get whatever seeds if any, are in the fruit.

Just thought this was kind of interesting considering we all know that in most cases passionflowers only seem to stay open 1 day.

Now at least in some cases we can enjoy them just a little longer.
