Depends on the species, so it's hard to give a blanket response. Incense, caerulea, incarnata and hybrids such as Lady Margaret and Amethyst can withstand those non-freezing temps easily. Edulis and vitifolia can as well (I've even had them make it through light freezes without much damage). But I understand there are species that get stressed if the temperature dips into the 50s, so, basically, all I'm saying is "It depends." Sorry I can't be more helpful. :-)

I'd imagine since it's the 30th (just realized I'd better pay bills today..) you know by now which made it & which didn't.

Couple years ago I had about 50 outside.. Most made it, but I said "cold" and the biflora died. Got some frost & the ruby glow laughed. Totally expected it to be toast.

So yeah, depends on the plant.

Everything made it and is still looking beautiful. We've only had a couple nights where the temps got down to the mid 40's. I'll start taking some in when the temps are consistantly cool. The longer they can stay outside the better. They don't like being inside, even if they're in the greenhouse. Besides that I cut them way back before taking them in and all are still blooming.
