What varieties are you growing?

Both are Cerulean blue.

What have you been doing with them over the previous winters? I'm surprised that established vines haven't bloomed yet. Even my caeruleas from seed have all bloomed by the second season. Are they in full sun? You might want to give them a fertilizer high in potassium beginning the next growing season.

As long as they are in a sunny spot I'd just mulch them in the fall and forget about them. If they aren't in full sun you might want to dig them up and relocate them in the spring. I'm not sure that they'd have enough time to become established if transplanted now.

I always keep some of my hardy passion vines in containers and allow them to go dormant in an unheated greenhouse or the garage over the winter. We've had some colder then average winters that killed them.

This is the first season for them. They are in pots, a good deal of sun, but also some shade. They are on the east side of my house, near the patio.
