Palm tree is parting/splitting

Hi,
I have two palm trees in 24" containers. They are 2 yrs old and one of them is doing quite well while the other not as much. It seems to be parting (splitting). The phone may not be the best but I'll attach it for now and update if need be.
The healthy tree is about 2' taller and blooming nicely.
What can I do about this parting/splitting?
