Still, that big, fluffy white bloom against the dark green leaves, absolutely beautiful! I have a single white that's been a fav for several years then transitioned to liking the semi-doubles better than the singles. Think I'm evolving to absolutely loving the big, full doubles now! Bring on those peony supports! It's worth the effort! Just have to find the time to actually put them out there and use them.....I assume Festiva Maxima needs a peony support, huh? If it doesn't that would be even better!

Yes, The bloom stems need support. I just let them be, sometimes they will kind of hold there own but more than likely the outer ones will fall over. I have several that need no support and they're a bonus. Pembroke
