Planted 12 grapes in two rows with yukon gold potatoes between the plants. Cannot see the soil bare! Next year, hope to plant bush beans or peas in the 'tater space. Goal is to have an overhead arbor with these grapes. After the potaoes get first hilling, will set a small clump of chives and a few marigolds near each grape.
