Read the label.....what does it say? What are the active ingredients? You'll find your answer there. Products of every kind often change in appearance....just go by what the label says the active ingredients are.

Is Sluggo Plus really effective with earwigs? They are going after my baby blue eyes seedlings. TIA

According to the label Sluggo Plus combines the Iron Phosphate that has been somewhat effective in slug and snail control with Spinosad to aid in control of Earwigs, Pill/Sow bugs, and Cutworms.

color is color.. not an active ingredient .... one might presume that every producer can make it a different color.. if they wish ... though you would think sluggo would require uniformity ...

and that is why rhiz said its all about the label.. the list of active ingredients.. not the color

Thanks Kimmsr. Pertinent word is 'somewhat'. Maybe the old soy sauce/oil cups will do the trick.

Keep in mind, that really good fakes are often sold online so verify that the manufacturer codes on the bottle and phone numbers match the other info/numbers that the company puts on it's website. You can always call them. I am running into the issue of it being white (first time using it) but most videos I have watched are showing it brown, green, etc I'm worried cuz we had some crows die near my home, around the same time I began finally giving in and using a lil bit of Sluggo Plus (from Costco) around the edges of raised beds and containers. I didn't fully water it in but most of it did wet. I. Worried that somehow they put the wrong bait in the bottle or that potentially

someone returned it with another product inside. Ugh!
