The pests seen in the photo appeared on on iris plants that had been in an outside tub so far this winter waiting to be planted. They had become water logged,etc so, my mother put them in new soil and brought them in. Then these visitors appeared. They wipe off easily and do not feel like scales at all to me. What are they and how to get rid of them?
