I can identify sayula for you...it is a jalapeno with the same heat...not a fooled you but a real jalapeno with good heat. I think someone just made up a name as I grew them last year and couldn't tell the difference between them and my other jalapenos. Jackie

Atomic Starfish, medium hot with a sweet and fruity flavor.
Excellent fresh. One of my favorites. It's also called Brazilian Starfish.

Carribe- a notch above cherry bomb but below Thai Hot.

Red Cheese -- Mild, dense red flesh, racquetball sized

Grew it last year, but it didn't make the cut for '09 (too mild).

I bought a pack of Pimenta D Espelette from NewMexStateUniv.to grow this year.Information i found on net said it was basicaly french paprika.I believe the NMSU chile shop said they were mild.Hope this helps....Will know for sure in about6-7 months.

A couple of months ago Aleksandar kindly sent me a sample of Pimenta d'Espelette along with some seeds. It is hotter than common ground paprika spice. More like jalapeno. I would estimate around 5k SKU. Hotter than ground ancho but not as hot as cayenne. Nice flavor too. I can see why it is popular among French epicures. (The term "French epicure" as used here is not intended to be offensive or derogatory, so please do not take it as such.)

    Hope this helps. Rick

Pinocchio's Nose - Very long Cayenne medium heat.
Peruvian Purple - Ornamental, not very tasty, about 20.000 SHU.
    Black Czechoslovakian - Medium heat
Cheiro do Norte or Cheiro do Pará - Hot and very very aromatic (the word "cheiro" means "smell" in portuguese). Very good :)
