I got really upset with myself a couple of weeks ago when an orchid pot slipped off its stand and took off about 3 or 4 leaves off my 4222 grafted plumie from FC however fortunately the growing tip wasn't hurt so it's already putting out new leaves. :)

Thanks you guys!!! This was my first winter keeping anything going over the winter and my first time rooting over the winter too. As you can see, most of my plumies have no leaves due to the spider mites (and the sprays!)but many of them have little green leaves trying to pop out since I knocked the mites back a bit.

Overall, for the mites the spinosad has given me the most relief and it is very mild, I love that stuff. I use it outdoors for thrips too.

Yeah, eBay is a snooze fest right now but Michelle has a lot to choose from, Wendy has lots, there are a few more I want from Kara (JL) & then there are a couple I may order from Brad's since they are already rooted.

Included in my pre-season count I have an Emerson's SunDance on hold with Michelle right now which I'm very excited about and this weekend a very generous person may be gifting me a Jeannie Moragne!!! I am super excited about that one also. All of these have been on my wishlist, I'm more than thrilled I've been lucky enough to get them.

Have you guys checked out FC new site? Nice!!! I guess we all are getting the itch. Anybody got a cream for it? "LOL"

Peg, if you find that cream, I will need a swimming pool size vat of it please!!! LOL!

I'm very excited to share with you my 2 new arrivals from The Plumeria World (Kara / JL Farms)!! I wasn't given an option to pay for multiple tips, although I do see on their website now it says $5 extra per tip if available - but that's ok because I got a 2 tip Golden Pagoda and a 3 tip Goldilocks! WOO-HOO!!! It's a good thing that Sharpie doesn't last forever on these things, I started mislabeling Golden Pagoda and had to scratch it out! :(

Those cuttings are very nice and so are the seeds! I have some seed that I have not yet started but probably will get them going this week at work.

Here is the giant Mr. Ambassador cutting I got from Plumeria World also - I decided to re-cut the end because it was cut at a very severe angle so I'm trying to re-callous right now. That's a Kimi Moragne callousing in there with it.

Here's a picture of the roots of a plant I repotted that I got as a CUTTING last year - this is a 5 gallon pot. I think this one is Loretta. Can you believe that root growth??? This one even got put in the garage for a little R&R.

Mine are getting ready to go for spring and summer as well. All though in fl they all just run together. I planted them as cutting last year and they had a nice amount of growth there first year. I had another one all ready bloom and with nice foliage. This is the only one I have that has not bloomed yet. Hoping she will be pink as my others are white and two yellows with a splash of white center.
