A seedpod takes about 9 months to be ready. So you still havel a long time to go. If you try to open the seedpod to check on the seeds before they are ready then you will lose all of them. Just hang in there. :)

I have never had a seed pod. Barb is right though because the seeds would stop growing AND, you would also risk introducing moisture to the pod which also would be inviting mold.

I have seen pictures here where people will slide an old stocking over the seed pod so once the pod matures and splits open, the seeds themselves won't blow away.

Go to Plumeria 101.com and you can find out how to plant the seeds when they open and are ready to plant. They have to be planted a certain way, I didn't know that and wondered why mine didn't sprout then I found this site and now almost all my seeds sprout.

Nice to see you and congratulations on your seed pod!

Keep an eye on it and when you see it start to split , then I would put a knee hi over it and tie it up. Mine go from green to purple at times to black. Depending on the variety. It will be fine .

Let us know when it opens. I like to plant my sees wing high in the mix. Others on FB like to lay flat. It just depends on style !
