Spiders are not considered a pest, normally. What kind are they that they pose a problem?

This product is one of BayerCropScience more innocuous ones. Sulfur at about 0.2 percent and pyrethrins at about 0.01 percent. What ever the inert ingredients are is not listed.
At what air temperature was this product applied? Generally no insecticide should be applied when air temperatures are over 80 and when the sun is out in full intensity because that can cause problems.

There is zero reason to assume that the pesticide is the reason one plant out of several have wilted. Unless the OP hasn't disclosed lots of other information, that is.

How can spiders be a serious problem to strawberries? Those guys help keep down the insects that harm your crops.

anyone want to tell her.. that spiders arent insects.. and that perhaps.. not only being beneficial ... might not be killed by a lightweight INSECT-icide

ps: fungus issues ON leaves ... fungus normally attack dead material.. as in mushrooms ... how do you know its not a mildew ...

and we NEVER spray EVERYTHING... because a few plants are affected ... ever

You're adding to the weirdness, ken, lol! Surely you have heard of fungal diseases of living plants? Why don't you look up fungus diseases of strawberries, just as an example? Or hosta? Or conifers! Fungal pathogens have plagued all kinds of plants for a few hundred million years.....and I'm not talking about mushrooms!

There are fungal pathogens that affect leaves and needles, fruit, flowers, woody tissue, root systems.

Also, most effective contact insecticides will also kill spiders.That's a myth that they are somehow resistant.
