Be patient--there can be a lot of variation in germination times.

John, 100% of my C. Galapagoense seedlings have seed caps complete stuck. I failed 8 out of 8. I soaked more seeds and re-planted. This variety doesn't like me much! My other notorious wild variety is CAP 500. Same exact issue. These finnicky peppers!!!!

I have best luck just letting them work their way out. Usually if I fiddle with them I kill them. I think jt's method of clipping off just the tip of the cap is worth trying.

Update, the Feherozon has 100% germination, last sprouts came up 3/12/08. Still waiting on the Kalocsai, only 2 of 12 are up.
