Aphid Control Idea

Companion planting is the only way to go. That being said, the marigolds seem to be effectively controlling the aphids on my tomatoes but on the bottom half only. So I was thinking about how to make them effective on the top half, and I had an idea. I tried to google it to see if anyone else had tried it but couldn't find much. I was thinking about brewing a tea from the marigold leaves and spraying the plants with it. Seems simple, but I was wondering if anyone has tried it and to what success.
