Hello Florence! Welcome to the forum! I would say that it sounds like you have done everything right, as your others are all giving you flowers! Some people say they have waited many, many years for a seedling to bloom, it could very well just be the genetics of that particular seedling.

It sounds as if you are already using a 'bloom booster' type fertilizer and the plant is either giving you a false inflo or dropping buds - I'm sorry I don't have the answer but hopefully someone else will chime in with some more recommendations for you. There are even some varieties grown from cuttings that are known to have 'bud drop'.

I think your one seedling that won't bloom is just a stubborn one. Even Bill Moragne had to wait nearly twenty years for one of his to bloom. Sometimes they just don't want to bloom until they've reached a large size or grown an extensive root system.

I have many 2-1/2 year old seedlings, none of which have bloomed, yet elucas above has one that is putting out its first buds now at about a year old, and we live in the same city and use the same growing methods! These things are unpredictable sometimes.

Thank you for your answers. Today I looked at the stalk and I think again it won't be good. but I am stubborn too and I will feed it again untill I will get nice flowers! 2 months ago I changed the compost this year may be it will encourage new buds. I will tell you if I get a result. I read very often the subjects and admire the photos of evryone.
In USA you get so many beautiful varieties!
