Dracaena Pests

Hello out there,

I'm wondering if anyone out there is able to enlighten me to what is eating my Dracaena and (I think) spreading to other plants in the house. Whatever it is causes little faded spots to appear on new foliage, very similar to spider mites, but more isolated, more speckled and random. Also I've never seen anything that looks like mites and never had any webs on the plant. The spots start small and grow to be as big as about a quarter inch. Going from faded green to outright dried up yellow. When I examine the underside of the affected leaves, I notice very tiny black dots surrounding the spots. The dots do not move and can be scraped off (no easy task) with a fingernail. I'm wondering if it's the bugs' feces perhaps? I've tried dish soap solutions, pyrethrum sprays, and Safer's 3-in-1 mite/aphid/fungus control spray and still the new leaves are getting these spots. Can anyone out there offer any idea as to what might be causing this? And how to get rid of the buggers? The plant is starting to look pretty ugly due to all the spotting and I'm afraid whatever it is is going to spread before I can get it under wraps. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Devon
